Your PSO is made up entirely of volunteers. Most of our volunteers work full-time and still manage to help out and support the school, so whatever your situation, we appreciate your willingness to help and we’ll find a way to get you plugged in and helping. We always have a need for volunteers for upcoming school events.
In order to volunteer at school, you must have been fingerprinted and cleared. It may take several weeks to get cleared so please do this if you plan on volunteering at school anytime during this year. We will have a second finger printing event on campus in January. Please look for the exact date and time in both the calendar and the Weekly Newsletter.
Questions regarding fingerprinting should be directed to the Great Hearts Human Resources department. They can be reached at (602) 438-7045, option 7.
Volunteer on days you’re available from 11:30 – 1:00pm. Training is provided and it’s a great chance to see your children and meet other parents!
Teachers have a huge impact on our children. We in the Lincoln Prep PSO believe that teachers should be regularly appreciated and recognized for the influence they provide to our children.
Tracy Vickery will be heading up the committee for “Teacher Appreciation” and welcomes any of your ideas or suggestions on how we on the PSO can help our teacher’s feel valued, appreciated and honored.
Some of the ways we are planning to honor our teachers:
- Special monthly lunches
- Birthday recognition
- Baggies full of cards and words of thanks from students
- Free Holiday Gift Wrapping
